How are they going to justify the regulators when when you are on the downhill. Hell!, why don’t they put a unit on your truck that will automatically drag your brakes for you. Like all of us drivers who do the job, non of this is the real issue. When are we going to just stay home and make our point?, NEVER!
Nothing will change in the industry until the people can’t get what they want and then and only then will we get what we want.
If you want to get attention from someone, you have to make it affect them personally or they just don’t care!

the problem isn’t 105kpm, it’s that NO two trucks will maintain 105 the same. You will be left no choice but to always be tailgating, you catch someone you’ll be unable to pass, slow down and someone will pass you sitting right in frint of you. I think the real issue is the big companies are just wanting to dumby proof the job. If you take control of the truck from the driver[ speed limiter, automatic transmiison, taction contol, roll over protection] you no longer need a professional driver, just a heart beat. ANYONE with any miles under their belt and a brain knows it wont work, we already see it with the trucks we deal with know that are governed

There are some road speed limiters out there that do not limit the engine output thus solving this issue! They limit the vehicle speed but not the engine output if you would like more information on this let me know!
